Emma French - Videographer and Graphic Designer
Hi, my name is Emma, my goal is to engage, inspire and problem-solve through videography and communication design
I graduated from Auckland University of Technology in 2020 with a degree in Communication Design, majoring in Graphic Design and minoring in Cinematic Arts. My final-year film, 20 in 2020, was a finalist at the Best Awards. I’ve always seen visual design as a way to tell a story and connect with people in a meaningful way.
My experience spans graphic design, videography, photography and marketing, including time in advertising agencies managing projects across print, digital and video. More recently I’ve been working on superyachts, where I’ve shot promotional reels, designed print collateral and filmed philanthropic projects. I’ve also freelanced, creating everything from wedding films to promotional content for clients.
Beyond the technical skills, I think the real value lies in listening to people, understanding what they need and turning that into something that truly works for them.
In the end, my goal is to use creativity to make a positive difference, whether that’s through design, film or simply helping ideas come to life.
